Job Description:

We are seeking a professional translator with expertise in power station terminology to join our translation team. This role involves translating technical documents, manuals, and other materials related to the power station industry from English into Chinese or vice versa, ensuring accuracy and fluency in the translation.

Responsibilities:

1. Translate technical documents, manuals, and other materials related to power stations from English to Chinese or Chinese to English.
2. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and readability of translations, adhering to industry standards and terminology.
3. Conduct research to understand and interpret complex technical terms and concepts related to the power station industry.
4. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery of translation projects.
5. Maintain and update a terminology database to ensure consistent translation of industry-specific terms.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
2. Fluent in both English and Chinese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. At least 2 years of experience in translating technical documents or manuals related to the power station industry.
4. Familiarity with industry-specific software tools such as CAT tools (e.g., Trados, SDL Trados Studio) is preferred.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
